I'm sure those of you who are not living in Vegas either saw it on the internet or the front page of most news sources....but yes, Vegas had a major snowstorm and we came home to LOADS of snow in our yard!!! We bundled our little pumpkin up in her puffy winter coat and had a ball playing in our yard. She looked like the stay puff marshmallow man and if we set her down she would just topple over onto her puff! haha It was adorable. Beau was a bit hesitant to even get out in the snow...I can't imagine it was too comfortable on his chubby little belly! But he ended up sprinting out into the snow and loved it once he got used to it! The snow stuck around for quite a few days and unfortunately all of our bushes and tress took quite the beating. Most either just snapped in half or froze to death! But it was worth it! The last snowstorm in Vegas was in December 1979...which ironically was the December of my very own 1st Christmas...so Bella got the same surprise on her 1st Christmas too!

We have been bouncing around at Christmas parties and holiday functions with our dressed up little princess. She is the hit at most parties because she is SO social and just bops around walking in and out of crowds and babbling to anyone who will listen. Everyone seems to be spoiling her terribly so she usually has a crowd hanging on her every word :)

As most of you know, and I would like to thank you again for everyone who voted for me, but I was a nominee at the Las Vegas Wedding Awards for 2008. I was nominated for Best Wedding Planner, Wedding Professional of the Year, and Rising Star Award 2008. I think I was more nervous to win because as most of you know I am NOT good in front of large crowds!! My nerves get the best of me!!! Although I did not win the Best Wedding Planner (which went to CLM Events) or Wedding Professional of the Year (which went to my friend Carrie Key of DragonRidge) I did win the Rising Star Award 2008!! This award is for the best newcomer in the Las Vegas wedding industry for 2008! I was SO excited to get this award. And to be honest, I was so honored just to be nominated for the Best Wedding Planner and Wedding Professional of the Year in my 2nd year of business with nominees that have been in business for 10 years +!! There were only 5 individuals nominated for Wedding Professional of the Year out of every single vendor market in Las Vegas. It was a wonderful night and it's nice to see all of the passion and hard work you put into something you love actually get recognized by other industry professionals.

The little man is growing VERY rapidly! My belly is in full effect these days and he is just kicking up a storm. I have to say though, that I am much more comfortable than I was at 6 1/2 months with Bella. She had begun giving me terrible back pain and kicking my ribs so fortunately he has not done that to me....yet! hahaha We don't go to the doctor again until the first week of January and then after that we are on to appointments every two weeks. Are we really to that point already!!!!???? My how time flies! I have had a horrendous cold again and of course have had to let it run its course with no antibiotics. Thankfully the baby is doing just fine and weathering my cold...although every time I take a Sudafed he starts doing the Mamba for a good hour or so! Hopefully we will get some more ultrasound pictures at our next appointment to show you all!

Tada! Yes, it's true seeing is believing! I have updated the blog....FINALLY! I'm sorry but life has been just a bit busy lately chasing Bella, planning Matt's Greek-themed Surprise 30th Bday party, chasing Bella, preparing to host Thanksgiving, and all of those other little daily "things" that this old prego girl is trying to keep up with!! So.....sorrrrry bloggers! :)

I do at least get the chance to hop on and skim through all of the other so-cute blogs of my girlfriends and their daily lives....and can I just say that all of our little girls (and 2 boys) are just too flipping cute!! I'm happy to announce to those of you who have not heard it through the grapevine just yet, but we are having a boy!!! Brendan Burke and Chase Terrones are so happy to have another boy on the way since the girls ruled 2008! Matt and I had decided that we were not going to find out but Matt saw the "boy parts" right away in the ultrasound! hahaha So to say the least we are beyond excited that we will get to enjoy the pink and blue side of life :)

The baby is very healthy and growing rapidly...he is over 1 lb and is about a foot long now!! Everything is checking out wonderfully and I'm feeling great...very round....but great!!

Bella is growing faster than we can keep up with these days! She is walking almost all of the time now...except for when she really needs to turn on the turbo jets....she drops to her knees and the speed crawler is off!! We are loving her curiosity right now and everything is amazing to her. We put up our Christmas lights this weekend and when we turned them on for the first time her baby blues were like saucers! Just amazed!

We have begun to introduce the word baby and images of babies to her and she is cracking us up. Every time I feed her baby food she has to coo and kiss the baby on the Earth's Best Jar. We also bought her a baby that she totes around by its drawers and talks to all day long. We have also enrolled her in preschool which she is really enjoying and slowly getting used to the time away from Mommy. I think it was harder on me than her the first day of preschool....I cried for 2 hours :)

As you can see from the pictures....my wonderful husband turned 30!!! His Mom and I planned a Surprise 30th Greek-themed Birthday party...complete with Greek attire, dancing, Ouzo, and lots of plate breaking! Since Matt loved his days working at the Pink Palace in Greece....we had to bring back some memories of his younger days! We definitely surprised him and it was so wonderful getting everyone together to celebrate my favorite guy :)

I'm so sorry that I have taken so long to update the blog....there's almost too much that has gone on to get it all in one post!! All in all....life is good! We're all just happy as pie....hope you all had a wonderful holiday, we all have a lot to be thankful for!!!

Loving every minute of Halloween!

I apologize I have been terrible about updating the blog, we have been in party mode and busy busy busy!! But we've been having a blast for sure and Bella could not be more on sensory overload lately with all the costumes and things to look at! She is almost walking like a pro at this point, she can make it halfway across the living room by herself!! It is so absolutely adorable and she concentrates SO hard. We just wait to catch her!!

Not only did we attend Rylee Hordesky's 1st Birthday Party (so cute with a ladybug theme) and celebrated Beau's 5th Birthday at home, but our first party we planned in the last two weeks was a Surprise 60 th Birthday for my Mom! I planned a 1950s themed party where everyone had to dress up in true 1950s attire and we did our best to turn our home into a soda shoppe...we even had apple pie and root beer floats for dessert...so yummy. We definitely surprised her...amazingly....since she is over so much I figured she would figure it out, but she didn't and we got her!! Matt and I were Lucy and Ricky and Bella loved my vintage red housewife wig!

We also enjoyed Bella's 1st Halloween and we dressed her in a sweet little butterfly costume. She gets so excited around all of the other kids and just can't get enough of them. She is SUCH a social butterfly :)

Wish I had more time to update but I wanted to at least get all of the great pics we captured out to you all. Baby #2 is doing great...bumping away on my insides....and we have our next appointment on November 10th so we will update you with more news then!

We wanted to wish a special congrats to Carrie and Mike Terrones on their new beautiful little boy Chase Michael!!
