Isabella is such a big girl and she just turned 2 months old....already!!! I honestly can't believe it....so this is what they mean when they say "you blink, and they're grown" It's so amazing to take in all of her milestones...I wish I could have a movie of every moment of her life so I could replay each one!! She is getting so strong and in her daring ways she likes to show Mommy and Daddy how she can move.......and give Mommy a heart attack! She was just hanging out in her bouncer and all of a sudden she plants both of her little feet at the base and pushes off raising her butt off of the seat and moving to the left two inches. Since newborns usually stay where you put them I panicked!! So from now on...bouncer harness tightened....tight! She also has decided that the lying on her back thing is boring so she is attempting to roll onto her side already...oy vey!! If she hears my voice behing her she attempts to try a back flip so she can take a peek at me. It is so cool how she knows Matt's and my voice and seems to calm down when she hears us enter a room. I guess from now on our little one is on the move....what can I say, we have a little busy body and she may be crawling before I can blink:) She's just so fun and she laughs and smiles on cue these days and is such a ham for the camera...as you can tell in her pictures!!

Matt and I decided to take a family vacation to attend our cousin Shannon's wedding to his fiance Fran whom he has known since 6th grade. Matt and I always have to remind them that we met in 5th grade....so we win :) The wedding was held on Secret Beach just off of the shore of Oahu, HI. It was beautiful and Isabella was the perfect baby on our travels there! We flew first class and let me tell you...if I could have taken a picture of each and every first class passenger when we boarded with a newborn, you would have tinkled in your pants. After three hours and not a peep or whine from our little one, the other passengers started complimenting us on how wonderful she was and how lucky we are. Uh yeah...we know she's perfect! hahaha Isabella loved the sun and looked adorable the entire trip. She even stuck a toe in the pool......she wasn't too fond of that!! We rented a home in Hawaii Kai with all of the Uncles, Aunts and cousins and she was definitely doted upon and spoiled rotten :) Our cousins Shellie & Brandon, who were married last June, got baby fever from Bella a bit. Shellie loved holding Bella (would not give her and we may see a little one from them soon!! heehee Love it!!! More babies!!

We LOOOOOOOVE being parents and I get so caught up in just being in her world....I'm one lucky Mommy to have such a happy baby!!

Getting bigger comes with so many firsts for little Isabella! At 6 weeks now, she is such a happy baby and she is so hysterical when we introduce something new to her...it usually comes with an ear to ear little grin on her face while she crinkles her little nose and lets out a giggle. It puts us in stitches when she does it...it is just the cutest thing we have ever seen! She has started to let us know so many facets of her personality and we love getting to know her. She already has each of us wrapped around her little finger....especially her grandparents who can't get enough of her.

The last few weeks have been full of new things for Bella. She has gotten the chance to meet her Great Grandparents as well as her Grandparents and Uncle Daulton from Texas! They all adored her and she was spoiled beyond belief while they were here. It was also the first time that we have taken her on outings to dinner and even a visit to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay! She was so good everywhere we went...she's just a dream baby to me and she is so mellow she just hangs out and takes in her surroundings!

She also got her first bath which was an entire adventure for Matt and I. We had no clue what we were doing but she smiled the whole time so I guess we were doing something right! She likes to push out her little pot belly when we pour the water over her...which is followed by a funny grin. The best part is wrapping her up like a burrito after her bath in one of her cozy little hooded towels. She gets so snuggly and we fight over who gets to hold her after her bath!

All in all we are definitely getting the hang of being parents and it seems like the surprises will never end with Isabella. We adore every little piece of her...even when she wakes Mommy up just to hang out....at 3:00am :)

Isabella is already one month old...my how time flies...and how fast she's growing!!! Of course I would like her to stay teensy forever because right now I can snuggle her as much as I like...but it is becoming more and more fun each day to see her develop new skills and interact with us with her smiles and coos! She is just so darn cute I cannot even explain how much I stare at her daily! I'm sure I'll do that until she's a teen...and she'll be going, "Mooooom..stop it!!" hahaha

She is starting to fill out quite a bit..and as we had figured, she's getting her Daddy's cheeks he had when he was a little guy :) Neither Matt or I think she looks like either one of us more than the other but we have had everyone debating whether she resembles Matt or myself. I think she is a little bit of both...let's hope she gets her Dad's legs!!

She is keeping us so busy (with not only her adorable ways but those dirty diapers as well! ) but we are enjoying being parents soooo much! I'm so happy we were able to experience the feeling of unconditional love for the first time....anyone whose a parent knows that feeling. It is incredible!! :) You can't ever get enough of kissing those tiny feet or cheeks...I even look forward to her 2:30am feeding because that is when she is so alert and she smiles back at me and even occasionally cracks herself up...mostly when she spits up on me...she already thinks that's hysterical! hahaha Very funny Bella :)
