Bella and Daddy watching the Red River Shootout... Go Longhorns!!

I LOVE my Daddy XOXO

The last week has been so fun with Bella...she is getting so brave and has started to trying to take steps all on her own even when we are not right in front of her! It looks like Mommy will be shopping for some walking shoes sooner than later. I just can't believe that she is so mobile at 8 months already but I am thankful because I've started to grow in the midsection area and baby Channel #2 is starting to wear a bit on me when I carry Bella for too long! She is over 20 lbs now so after awhile I have to take a break. The stroller, shopping carts and our wide open living room are my saviors these days :) She is so snuggly still, so sometimes it's hard to deny those baby blues when she throws her little hands up toward you. Matt says it's his favorite thing in the morning...along with her open mouth kisses. She loves to kiss but they are very slobbery and it just cracks you up when she does it.

We visited Dr. Spoon this last week and everything looks wonderful, healthy baby healthy heartbeat and most of all, we received a call on our Downs and Trisomy 18 tests and they were both negative. No matter how much you pray and feel like everything is going great, you still worry about all of the what ifs....so it's nice to hear positive test results and have one less thing to worry about.

We also had our friends Annie and Eric over this week, and their little girel Makenna is a perfect play partner for Bella. They are each such happy babies and love to get around, it was hysterical because they kept climbing over each other. It didn't seem to bother either of them but they were adorable to watch. Makenna is 6 weeks older than Bella and I'm so happy they will be so close, since Eric and I have known each other for what seems like forever....since we were 9!! It's awesome to now see our little girls together becoming friends! Before we know it we'll be taking pictures of them headed to the prom with some boys that Eric nor Matt will trust or like no matter how great of a kid they are :) hahaha Gotta love the protective Daddys!!

Love to you all and I hope you all are enjoying the great weather.....loving the walks outside!!

Cheeeeeeeeeese!!!!

Our big girl took her first steps this week!!! Yay Bella!!! It was so cute and they were a bit of a mess but she got a good 3-4 steps in each time and was so proud of herself she was actually squealing with excitement....maybe because Mommy was squealing too hahaha. I was very excited to say the least but of course I want her to slow down and not grow up so fast!!! I love my cuddly girl and I don't want her to change :)

Isabella hung out with her first clown this week and amazingly she wasn't even remotely frightened! I just figure everyone is afraid of clowns...maybe because Matt and I aren't too fond of them. We blame the movie "IT" for that...even though if you watch the movie today it is not even half as scary as it was back in the day. Okay...anyways, rambling! But we had a great day enjoying the cooler weather and a picnic with the family. We have been outside all week enjoying friends and little Bella this week because we don't have a very large window where the weather is bearable....it goes from 120 degrees to cold and windy in a heartbeat!

She is quite the ham and knows it...she is dancing on her own when music comes on and we have to say "Go Bella...It's Your Bday" and she'll really get down. So funny. She just knows she's funny and works the room....oh goodness, we're in trouble.

We'll keep you updated, we visit the doctor again this week so hopefully everything is going wonderful. Thankfully I'm feeling great and I'm hoping to begin gaining some weight soon...I'm a bit behind so doc says start packing 'em on girl! Stay posted for growing belly!!!

Love to you all XOXO
