Happy 30th Birthday!!!

This week marked the 30th year that I've been chugging along!! haha It wasn't so hard to swallow...even though I thought it would be. I am very happy with my life right now and couldn't ask for more so I guess that makes the Big 3-0 appreciated!!

My wonderful hubby threw me a fabulous birthday party at Fado Irish Pub on Saturday night and I had a blast! It was my first time out without the kids in a long time so I was very excited to dress up...throw on some makeup...and cut loose. Okay, so it doesn't take someone who hasn't had a drink in pretty much two years too much to cut loose....but it was so great and I was so excited to see all of the friends that came to help me celebrate!!

The Vegas weather is a beautiful 80 degrees right now (not for long) so we enjoyed a Sunday BBQ with all of my family and some pool time with the kiddies! Bella does not want to be held or held back in the pool...she would rather just jump in herself! Time for swimming lessons!!! My anxiety level is already escalating as I think about it.

It was such a perfect Birthday and thank you so much everyone for making it so special...especially my hubby and my wonderful Mom who planned all of the festivities over the weekend and slaved away in the kitchen!!! I couldn't ask for better friends & family to share my life with!!! Lucky Me :)

Hello Everyone! So, for some of you this is the first correspondence you've probably gotten from me in the last month since my Mommy life turned into a whirlwind!!! We have adapted pretty well considering the lack of sleep and constant eagle eye I have to keep on Mommy's Little Helper, Bella B!!

She LOVES to run to the rescue when Brody cries or babbles....but that usually entails her grabbing his pacifier and shoving it up his nose, or trying to cuddle him with a blankie which usually entails a slight look of fear in Brody's eyes! hahaha It is adorable to watch her be a little Mommy and even better when I go into her room when she wakes up and the first word out of her mouth is "Hi Bubba....Bubba.Bubba.Bubba???" She wants to know where he is and what he is doing if he's not next to her!!! LOOOOOVE it!!!!

We were lucky enough to celebrate Easter this year with both of our families at my brother's house, including Brody's cousin and partner in crime Mia Faith, who was born 5 days after him! They are so adorable next to each other....so tiny!!!

Hello to you all!

I am so sorry I have not been a bragging Mommy and sent out lots of pictures of our newest addition....but phew...is it busy being a Mommy of two!!! Matt and I are having the time of our lives and we figure...hey we'll catch up on our sleep in a couple of years right??!!! Right??????!!!! hahaha

Brody Daulton Channel arrived into ur lives on March 21, 2009 at 12:32pm weighing 7 lbs 6 oz and measuring 20 inches long. I was unbelievably lucky and my labor from the time I was induced was only 5 hours....and I have to add that they were totally pain free! We aren't exactly sure why, but prior to having my epidural, my contractions did not ever hurt! Maybe it's because I had a child only 14 months ago! We were hitting the 100-120 mark on the contraction monitor and still no pain....just lots of pressure! The nurse thought she better check Brody's progress and when we saw the look on her face followed by a sprint out of the room yelling over her shoulder "I have to call your doctor" we figured that was probably a good sign that he was ready to get out! I pushed only 5 times and ta-da!!! Brody was here!!!

He has loads of hair, a mellow demeanor just like Isabella....and he is the new love of our Bella. She dotes on him all the time and does not seem to be jealous at all. She can't quite say Brody so she hugs him and says "Hi Bobby Hi Bobby" Soooooooooooooo cute!!! She wants to hold him and I have to watch her because that little quick one will be halfway in the swing with him trying to pick him up!!! Yikes!!!!

Anywho....I have to run change a diaper....or two...or three...or....oh there's too many to count!! Thank you for all of the texts, phone calls, emails and well wishes....we love you and can't wait for you all to meet our handsome little devil!!
