We made it!! We made it to our dream town!! We can't believe it and it has been a whirlwind since we arrived. My Mom, Matt and I have worked day and night to get unpacked, organized and cozy in our new home with Bella helping to reorganize most of what we put away these days :)
I was fortunate enough that I was offered a position as the Wedding and Social Events Planner for Weddings by Kennedy and the company is amazing. Love love love it and the creative women I work with are just fabulous. I hit the ground running and I have already booked 9 weddings...with two more proposed today so I have a feeling it will be a busy wedding year.
The kids are absolutely loving the new digs and exploring as much as they can. Grass is a new creature to Bella, she is still not quite sure what to think about the feel of it under her feet. We never had her outside much in Vegas because of the extreme dry heat but Austin is such an outdoors type of town that we are taking advantage of it. Bella is talking up a storm...literally repeating everything we say. I told her that she looked pretty yesterday and for the rest of the day she yelled "prippy" at everyone as she posed. Brody is growing up a storm...sitting up in his Bumbo and he cracks up for no reason all day long. He has the most awesome belly laugh I have ever heard out of a baby! Did I mention that he is over 15 lbs, in a size 3 diaper and is wearing 9 month clothing! Biiiiiiig Boy!!!!
After being in Austin for only a week and a half, I hopped on a flight to San Fran to relax a bit, visit Corinne, meet her adorable little boy Brendan, and see my oldest friend Kerry walk down the aisle as one of her bridesmaids. It was beautiful and Kerry was a gorgeous Bride. Congrats Kerry and Dave!!! XOXO
We cannot express enough how weird it is to be away from family and friends and we really do miss all of you. We know we are meant to be here though and we just hope that you will all visit as much as we try to visit Vegas!! Miss you all SO much!!
