Organically Austin!

The transition to the Austin lifestyle has, on our part, been a bit learned since most here would call us "city folk" in so many words. Whereas most "city folk" would call Austinites "a bit weird." I mean, the Austin motto is "Keep Austin "Weird."

Overall, the really wonderful thing about the Austin lifestyle is that 99% of people live outdoors and the farm to market products here are more than plentiful. I was headed to a private ranch I have been hired to transform for an October wedding and spent the day exploring as well for the guests' benefit. I love my job because I truly get to explore the area and find these gems hidden off the beaten path such as this amazing find I found on the Farm Market Rd 1325 toward Wimberley. You could miss it if you were driving over 20 mph and there is absolutely NO cell service out here, but I could have hung out for hours looking around!

The gem is called Arnosky Family Farms, they are growers of wonderful organic products (fresh feta cheese yum) as well as the amazing fresh daily flowers sold at Whole Foods and Central Market in town. The pictures I took on my phone aren't fabulous but I LOVE the big blue barn and their story.

People doing what they love...now that is what I'm talking about!

Southern Outdoor Appeal

I'm having a proud moment and wanted to just take a minute to say how truly proud and impressed I am with my husband. Matt began Southern Outdoor Appeal here in Austin when we moved and I am amazed at the amazing work, integrity, craftsmanship and name he has already put out for himself in the Austin community. For those of you who have not viewed his website...please do!
A new video has been uploaded and it looks fabulous!
Congratulations honey...love love!!
