Cinderella for a day...or every day if you wish!

I have seen many toddlers get attached to that one thing that makes their world turn, for my niece Taylor, it was a pair of dress shoes that she wore to bed each evening and eventually wore the toes out of. I figured my girly girl daughter would get attached to shoes or some sort of frilly item, but I didn't realize it would be her Cinderella dress that would end up over her clothes...and pajamas...more often than not. She would sleep in it if she could! The funny thing is, that she literally turns into Cinderella when she puts it on. She insists upon singing "Someday my Prince will Come" (she knows it by heart) and dancing with whoever is in the room. She desperately tries to get Brody to be her "prince" which pretty much just ends up in a Bella-Brody headlock sort of position and a shrill scream from Bubba for her to release him! It is absolutely the cutest most hysterical thing to watch. Daddy and Bella had a wonderful slow dance as she hummed her tune to him and I captured their moment...she even got a dip at the end and a kiss :)

Southern Outdoor Appeal in Mount Bonnell

I wanted to show you all a super awesome outdoor design build Matt just finished in Mount Bonnell. Mount Bonnell is considered the highest point in Austin at 775 feet and there is a really cool park that sits atop the hill...you have to climb the 100 steps to get to it but is worth the view. Matt was hired to completely demolition their existing back deck (he and his crew came home covered in wood chips, but I'm sure he loved the manly demo) and recreate the entire structure with a pergola, staircase and gorgeous cedar stain. The terrain is rugged and steep (I almost took a digger in my heels) so this job was a new design challenge in logistics which I think Matt pulled off so well!
