I had the chance to design a wedding in San Antonio, TX and the venue was so gorgeous to work with! I had the iron centerpieces hand made for the event and they were 20 lbs each!! We carried in and set 25 of them with the rest of the decor I had brought in. It was a lot of hard work and I have to thank my Mother for making the trip with me and helping me set 349 candles total! The candlelight was breathtaking when the sun went down. It was a very romantic setting though and a great experience in San Antonio!

Bubba!!
If you were to walk into our house these days on any given day....the first thing you would most likely hear is the very expressive yell for "Bubba" coming out of Isabella's mouth. Everything she does has to be seen, heard, watched, and even mimicked by Brody...aka Bubba! If Bella is dancing and Brody is just hanging out minding his own business, she looks at him and in her drawl says "Buuuubba!!!" and in an exasperated way goes over picks up his arm and starts shaking his entire arm to make him dance as well!! It's pretty funny to watch and as you can see from the look in his face, his is not always enthused about it. hahaha Get used to it little man, soon enough she'll be dressing you up in her clothes, hair bows, and shoes!

Our Little Longhorns
And BYU beat Oklahoma the same night!
woohoo
Hook 'em Horns! Well Bella can sign just about anything at this point, but the main emphasis this week was teaching her how to Hook 'em so that she would be ready for her first Longhorns game of the season! I have never been in a place where every single person is rooting for the same team! I went to the market on Saturday morning, Game Day, and 99% of the store was dressed in burnt orange! haha It was pretty classic.
We took the kids out to breakfast downtown that morning at Austin Java and they were quite the hit in their stylish Longhorns gear. Brody had on his authentic jersey that Uncle Sean, Aunt Darcy, Alexa, Taylor and Mia gave him. And Bella, ever so pushing the style envelope, was prancing in a seersucker sundress with an embroidered Longhorn on the skirt hehehe.
It was beautiful out in Austin this weekend and with Stacie and Lew in town visiting we went out for great Mexican and some drinks during the game. We did some more sightseeing while they were in town as well and we went on the Quacker tour around some landmarks and into Lake Austin. Bella loved when the bus plunged into the water and turned into a boat. She tried to teach Brody how to use his quacker but he was just interested in chewing on it as he does everything else! We miss Stac and Lew and it was great having them in town! Bella loved getting spoiled by her Godmother Stacie!

Sunday Afternoon
Mommy and her sweet pea
I had to take a picture! Sorry Brody.
Although we seem to go go go throughout the week, the best reward is spending lazy weekends with the family! The kids are cracking us up these days and they not only make each other laugh SO hard, they keep a constant grin on our faces that's for sure.
Brody is rolling rolling rolling and he is mesmerized by Isabella...and she knows it! She spins and jumps and hops through the air and he thinks it is the absolute funniest thing he has EVER seen. She is, of course, our girly girl and giving Matt nightmares of high school already! Everything we do these days has a tiny little voice instruction to it...We turn off the light...and Bella says,"Onnnnnn"....We open the door...and Bella says, "Cwose"...she walked by the TV yesterday and nonchalantly glanced at it and said, "Spudge Baaaa" (that's baby talk for Sponge Bob if you didn't know haha). She is signing so much and her sign for thank you looks like an Italian Guido gesture. She is trying to teach Brody to say thank you which is pretty comical. She is so sweet and twirls those little piggy tails constantly.
We LOVE them and can't get enough of them...but do they really have to grow up so fast!!!???? I need more time and I would like to make it stand still at their ages right now!
Love to you all!!!

Our Little Piece of The World
We're in Texas!
Sooo cute!
(Not really sure what the heck happened here!! haha)
We have really been wanting to take pictures of our new home but since I feel like we are STILL decorating and unpacking I at least walked around downtown of our new little town of Round Rock, TX and took some pictures so you can see a glimpse of where we now live! Round Rock is home to the headquarters of Dell and we have a lot of history too. It's funny because I feel like everything has a story in Texas...we live on A.W. Grimes who happens to be a man killed back in the war by another man named Sam Bass...another main drag of Round Rock. So, I guess even our street signs give a little history lesson...love the culture and American pride here in Texas though. The Southern feel is great and the hospitality and manners even at the grocery store are so refreshing. The hustle and bustle still happens like any other town but people just have a slower, less hurried way about them here.
The kids, as you see, are growing like beanstalks! Bella is speaking so wonderfully. She is a little parrot....attempting to repeat everything we say and doing everything we do! I love it because I know she is trying so hard to say words and phrases just right. We can point at pictures and ask her where the pig is, where the ball is, the frog, the shoes and she will point right at each of them and smile! I get this huge lump in my throat and become the proudest Mommy when she does it! Brody is rolling!! He is already on the move and I just can't believe it. I feel like we just brought him home from the hospital....time flies when you are having fun I guess. He laughs at us constantly and has the sweetest spirit. (I know he loves Mommy's voice the best because he giggles when I enter the room. Don't tell Matt hahaha)
We miss you and love you all. Hard knowing that it will be months before we see some of you but know we think of you every day!
Dramatic, movie star kisses from Bella...Slobbery kisses from Brody...and hugs from us! XOXO
