Christmas Spirit

Matt and I have really been trying to convey the spirit of Christmas to Isabella since she is at that age where every single thing on Earth is SO exicitng! As we take our walks around our festively decorated apartment complex, her new word is...."WOW!!!" The lights, reindeer, snowflakes, even the pine trees that haven't even been decorated yet, are so neat to her right now! We LOVE it! And it makes getting into the Christmas spirit so much more fun for us as adults...okay, and it's an excuse for Matt and I to act like kids again :)

I decided that Bella needed a date with Mommy and so I booked a date at the Austin Children's Museum downtown to make our own gingerbread house! It was absolutely adorable, and we had so much fun. Bella was "that" kid that kept eating the marshmallows and M&Ms off of her house, but hey...it was HER day and I figured sugar rush or not she could do what she liked!

Her house turned out so cute and she decorated the entire thing by herself with help from Mommy to spread the icing. After that, she stuck every piece of candy she could find on the house in her meticulous way....what a fabulous way to spend my Saturday with my little sweet pea!!!

Merry Christmas!!
