Amazingly, our little baby girl turned Big Girl "2" this past week on January 29th! Matt and I really cannot believe that she is already 2!! We had such a great "All About Bella" day and as you can see from the Cheeeeeeeeese grins, she enjoyed every minute of it! We started the day at Jump 'n' Climb for some great bouncing action...which by the way, is quite a work out! I think I was the only Mom jumping (I tend to be that Mom) but we had so much fun. Bella is so brave and climbs right up the big slides and flies down them at top speed. Okay, so I get a tad bit nervous but she...being the outspoken little peanut that she is...just says "Mommy two..three..sliiiiiiiide" and whoosh there she goes! We then headed to Petsmart to pick out and meet the newest addition to our family, Elmo, the betta fish. This was Bella's present from Mommy and Daddy and, oh Lord, does she love him. Every morning, she has to turn on the light to the tank, insists upon feeding him his 4 betta food pellets and then in the evening, after our entire process of kiss Daddy...kiss Grama...kiss Bubba...kiss Beau Beau...kiss....Elmo! haha She really kisses the outside of the tank and coos at him like he's her little doll. Following our VERY extensive meeting with the betta fish girl at Petsmart we brought home our fish and hit nap time so that we could be ready for the cake that afternoon (and avoid any toddler meltdown action)! Bella had asked for an Abby Cadabby-Elmo cake which was so cute and she loved every sprinkle and pouffe of icing on the entire cake.

The last two years have been so fulfilling and amazing because Bella is truly such a sweet-hearted little girl. She will stand next to you on the couch and just stroke your hair, then lean down and kiss you on the cheek for no reason. She does this to Brody all of the time and it just melts us. I do have to say that I wish the last two years had been a bit slower because it seems to have flown by and I really want to freeze her at this gorgeous, fun, uninhibited, into-everything age.
